by Richard Del Connor Based upon the events of my teenage years in Newfoundland. Very different from the California lifestyle I was exiled from. In 1970 Richard lived and worked at the 60 acre Oxen Pond Game Reserve. He fed 600 ducks and geese twice a day. Plus some snowy owls, an osprey and 6 ravens who lived in the room next to him in the farmhouse. In 1970 America was known as "Tricky Dicky" bombing Cambodians and shooting hippy protestors. Richard escaped. By decree.
