First of Four Stories That I Wish Never Happened
I moved to Las Vegas to live with a Kung Fu brother, teach classes at his Shaolin school, and learn Chinese Lion Dancing. I wish I'd never left Los Angeles.
Things went from bad to worse. Started well. But... I was hoping to never tell these stories. But after being homeless and poor, I'm sure these stories could make me some money.
I wrote some screenplays to tell these stories, but since I don't know anyone in the movie business--I couldn't make my movie.
I searched for a graphic artist to draw storyboards and even offered to make them into a graphic novel. No luck there either.
So I've finally decided to write a novel. Problem is, I don't know how much fiction to add to make this story commercial or avoid being sued by some of the people involved. Then, my school brother died. I've been out of touch with everyone at the Shaolin Kung Fu school. They abandoned me and left me for homeless in Vegas. So they don't care about me, and I can change some names... and they'll probably never read this book anyway. I couldn't get them to buy my CDs or books when I was teaching at their school.
So I just created this webpage to sell my book, KUNG FU COWBOY: ZOMBIE KILLER. The screenplay got a lot of good reviews. I thought a "Zombie Movie" would be affordable and back in 2012 when this all happened to me--zombies were very fashionable. My life is frustrating. I don't have any good connections, so I couldn't even ride that "zombie wave" to success.
But it is a good story. So perhaps, this book might accidentally sell a bunch... and I can escape poverty... maybe even make that movie still...
